Bringing the Brand to Life
As PlantHouse continued to grow, there was an opportunity to elevate the brand and create a more distinctive identity that reflected the CEO’s vision for the company’s future. This meant looking beyond individual design projects to strengthen the foundation behind the brand itself.
I helped modernize the brand guidelines, organize creative assets and files, and establish a clearer system for storing and accessing brand resources. These updates made the identity easier to manage and apply, giving the team a more organized foundation as the business and its creative needs evolved.
With that foundation in place, I applied the refreshed identity across a variety of customer touchpoints, from email campaigns and social media graphics to in-store signage, event materials, and hand-painted murals. This helped create a more cohesive and recognizable PlantHouse experience across digital marketing, retail, and physical spaces.

Community, Events & Experiences
From monthly workshops and seasonal activities to new store openings and special events, I helped bring PlantHouse experiences to life through creative marketing, planning, and on-site support. I designed promotional graphics, workshop schedules, instructional sheets, and event materials, while helping market upcoming activities across PlantHouse’s digital channels.
My involvement also extended to event planning and coordination, including communicating with vendors and identifying influencers and other potential guests for grand openings and preview events. On event days, I helped prepare and set up spaces, organize materials, and photograph the experiences to capture the activity and provide fresh content for future marketing.
By contributing across planning, promotion, and execution, I helped create experiences that connected PlantHouse with its local communities and brought the brand to life beyond its retail offerings.
Social Media & Content
With a presence across more than 10 market-specific social media accounts, PlantHouse needed a steady stream of content that reflected its products, workshops, seasonal offerings, and individual markets. Working closely with the marketing coordinator, I contributed content ideas and developed graphics that brought these topics to life visually.
My familiarity with PlantHouse’s products, customer interests, and the plant retail space also informed the creative process. Alongside designing graphics, I shared subject-matter insights and ideas around plant care, product highlights, and topics that would resonate with the audience, helping shape content that was both visually engaging and relevant.
Across the different market accounts, the work balanced a recognizable brand identity with enough variety to keep the content fresh, relevant, and connected to what was happening at PlantHouse.

Merchandise & Retail Experience
PlantHouse’s brand extended well beyond its digital presence. The stores themselves were an important part of the customer experience, creating opportunities to express the identity through the environment, merchandise, apparel, and printed materials customers encountered while shopping.
My work included merchandise and apparel design, retail displays, in-store signage, and print materials supporting the brand’s retail presence. I also designed and hand-painted murals and contributed to physical installations, bringing the brand into the store environment through large-scale artwork and other visual elements.
From branded apparel and accessories to printed materials, custom murals, and retail displays, these projects translated the PlantHouse identity into tangible experiences, connecting customers with the brand both inside and beyond its stores.
Photography & Editing
Photography was another part of my work at PlantHouse, supporting seasonal promotions, e-commerce, and event marketing. I photographed a selection of products for the online store, captured seasonal imagery for promotional campaigns, and documented workshops, store activities, and special events.
I also edited and prepared images for use across the website and marketing channels, helping showcase PlantHouse’s products, seasonal offerings, and in-store experiences.

The Impact
By contributing to events from planning through execution, I helped create experiences that connected PlantHouse with its local communities and brought customers into its stores. From grand openings and preview events to in-store activities, my work helped build awareness, generate interest, and create opportunities for customers to experience the brand beyond its products.
Bringing together creative marketing, event coordination, and on-site support gave me a broader role in how PlantHouse showed up in its communities, helping turn promotional efforts into real-world experiences that strengthened the connection between the brand and its customers.
